Bokor Mountain Full Day Or Two Day Private Tour

After pickup from your hotel you are off for the drive to Bokor Mountain, from the base you will follow the narrow winding road to the top, where we arrive at the giant stone face called Guardian of the Forest and take in the wide sweeping view of Kampot town.

Visit the huge Lok Yeay Mao monument which was constructed in 2010. At 29 meters tall, sitting in a pose of meditation, and facing the coast, Lok Yeay Mao is considered a protector spirit of travelers, fishermen and hunters.

Enjoy lunch at the Lotus restaurant.

The old casino, Le Bokor Palace is the main building of the Bokor hill station. Its location was chosen at 1000 meters altitude to provide the Colonial French weary of the hot weather a welcome cooling respite, especially during the dry season. It was described as ''heaven'' at the time. Both the French elite and the Royal Family ascended here during 'Hot Season'. Le Bokor Palace sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Opal Coast where it enjoys a moderate climate and picturesque location.

The Old Catholic Church was built by the French in the early 1920s. The church's Neo-Romanesque design is unusual in Cambodia. On the hill behind the Church there is a spectacular view of the coast. This location is a great spot to view the sunset and is very popular for pre wedding photoshoots.

Wat Sampov Pram (Five Boats Pagoda) is named for the resemblance of the oddly sculpted rocks to five traditional ships lined up next to each other. The temple was built by the mother of King Sisowath Monivong. Behind the temple there are breathtaking views of the deep blue sea and emerald green jungle that will amaze you. Wat Sampov Pram is the highest Buddhist temple in Cambodia, at 1,075 meters above sea level.

Popokvil Waterfall: Popokvil means ''swirling clouds'' which is totally appropriate as most of the time the mists whorl just above the waterfalls. The best time to visit is during the rainy season (May to October) when the falls are at their most beautiful. During the dry season it is still a beautiful place to visit. A place to relax with green mountain views, visitors can enjoy and experience many water activities such as kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing and riding paddle boats.

At the end of the tour you will be returned to Sihanoukville.

This is available as both a one and two day tour. The two day tour includes watching the fantastic sunset from the cliffs behind the Catholic Church facing west across the ocean, and a stay at the Thansur Sokha Hotel on the mountain.
