Situated on the Mekong, Kampong Cham retains much of its Colonial Architecture and it is still an important city for trade. With the Kings Palace, Wat Nokor unusually built of black sandstone, the seasonal Bamboo Bridge to Koh Pen, the hills located just outside of the city, and the lovely sunsets over the Mekong, this is a great place to relax without being bored.
