Preah Vihear

All Preah Vihear Attractions

Preah Vihear, North of Siem Reap, and Bordering Thailand and Laos, is known for its Jungles, Wat Bak Kam (with its 400mX1000m Pagoda), and its many archeological sites. This is a very lightly touristed area, but well worth a visit. Most travelers will go to Siem Reap, then on to Phnom Penh without realizing it exists. If you want to see the remains of the Angkorian Empire without the crowds of Angkor Wat, this is the place.
