Siem Reap

All Siem Reap Tours

Siem Reap is the gateway to the ruins of the world famous Angkor Wat complex. It was the seat of the Khmer Kingdom from the 9th–15th centuries. Angkor’s vast collection of intricate stone buildings includes the magnificent Angkor Wat, the main temple, which is pictured on Cambodia’s flag, and numerous other spectacular temples, fortifications, and waterworks. Made famous in the film Tomb Raider, the ruins of Ta Prohm are being reclaimed by the jungle. Lesser known outside Cambodia, but deeply important to the Cambodian people is the Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom where giant, mysterious faces are carved into the facade.

It isn't just temples here though, there are other things to see and do, the Floating Villages on the Great Tonle Sap Lake, Crocodile Farms, Night Markets, Traditional Silk Weaving, Pub Street, a wide variety of restaurants, and much else besides.
