Full Day Private Kayak Tour to See the Irrawaddy Dolphins

We will pick you up directly from your hotel or guesthouse in Kratie and drive you north along the Mekong River to our put in. The river here is divided by many small islands that change shape and size with each Rainy Season. A stop here lets us have a swim and explore one of the Islands. We pass small villages on the banks, and fishermen in small boats, except during Rainy Season the river moves quietly here for the most part. After the mild rapids above Kampi we enter an area with deep pools, this is the habitat of the Endangered Irrawaddy Dolphin. There is a resident population of them here, possibly the only one remaining in Cambodia. From there we go a bit further downstream and break for lunch at a restaurant on the banks. Gently continuing on the river helps propel us back to Kratie. On arrival there we will return you to your accommodation.
