King's Residence

King's Residence is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in Kampong Cham. The ancient palace of the King's Residence is visited by travelers from all over the world. It is known as the dwelling of the monarchs who ruled Cambodia.The complex comprises a series of buildings which were used by the local people to pay their respects to the king. 

The premises of King's Residence include a beautiful fountain. Inside there are chambers which were used for various purposes. The sprawling complex is spread over acres of land. The King's Residence stands tall as a testimony to all the events that have taken place over the years. The mansion has been a silent spectator to all the glories and grandeurs of the monarchs of Cambodia. Today the ground of the King's Residence is still used for various purposes and one can see the elders of the town taking an afternoon stroll down the paths of the palace. The palace which was an epitome of class is now used as a gathering place for the common people.
