Phnom Pros Phnom Srey
The dual mountains of Phnom Srey and Phnom Pros each house their own pagodas, with legend saying that a mountain building competition was held between women (Srey) and men (Pros). The women won, but used trickery to do so. During the time of the Khmer Rouge both sites were used as detention centers, with the area in between becoming a Killing Field. There is currently a small gilded Stupa with a pile of the victims skulls in the now quiet field at their base.
