One and a half hours from Sihanoukville, lies the Island of Koh Rong. With regular ferry service it is a great place to get away from city. Its many beaches (43kms!) and bays, with its sparkling clear water, make it one of best places in the area for Snorkeling, Swimming, or just Relaxing. The Forested interior of the island is good for Hikers and Bird Watchers with a Peak of just over 1000 metres. Seasonal Waterfalls from the numerous creeks provide refreshing spots to cool off during walks. There are quiet resorts and more lively guest houses, the island offers something for everyone.
