Prasat Andet
Thirty kilometres from Kampong Thom town lies the Pre-Angkorian temple of Prasat Andet, this 7th century Hindu temple was built during the reign of King Jayavarman I. Built in brick and laterite it sits atop an artificial hill. Much of it is in a partially ruined state, though some of the stone carvings are in good shape. A modern Buddhist temple now lies behind it.
