Tonle Bati
The lake at Tonle Bati is just 30 kilometres south of Phnom Penh. It is a popular spot for fishing, swimming, its numerous small restaurants, and as a jumping off point to the nearby temples of Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau. Ta Prohm is the larger of the two, and known for its elaborate stone carvings. This is a nice day trip from Phnom Penh or Takeo city, as you can take in the temples then go to the lake to eat and relax.
