Full Day Private Excursion to Kampong Cham from Phnom Penh

After picking you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh we drive 124 kms (77 miles) away, about 2 hours to Kompong Cham. Along the way we will stop at the market in Skun. Here you will have the opportunity to try the local delicacies, like fried spiders. You may also simply take a photo if you wish. 

Kampong Cham, is the the most populous province in Cambodia and the gateway to Northeast of the country and its beautiful scenery. We will visit Wat Nokoh, an ancient Buddhist temple that dates back to the 12th century that is still in use.

In the city of Kompong Cham we will see examples of colonial architecture, and walk through the relaxing and quiet town that was once an important trading post on the Mekong River during the French colonial period. After lunch at a local restaurant we're off to see the Bamboo Bridge, this connects the island of Koh Pen to the mainland. Every year it is built during the dry season and washes away with the monsoon rain. In the late afternoon we head back to Phnom Penh and drop you at your hotel.
