100 Pillar Pagoda
Standing on the site of the original 16th century Pagoda, the rebuilt Wat Vihear Sorsor Mouy Roy, or Temple of 100 Pillars, is a popular place for local pilgrims. Originally built from wood, it was struck by lightning and much of the pagoda was lost in a subsequent fire. Its main focus is the pillars which create a large verandah all the way around the building.
