Half Day Private Tour of the Kampot Countryside

After pickup from your hotel we head to the Salt Fields, here you can see traditional Sea Salt harvesting the way it has been done for thousands of years. Slow solar evaporation causes the salt to precipitate out of the seawater, then it is scooped out and further dried for use.

Then to the Secret Lake, this is a lovely spot surrounded by mountains and fed by springs and small creeks. This picturesque lake is rich in plant and birdlife.

Onwards to La Plantation Pepper Plantation for a tour of how Pepper is grown and processed.

From there we head up the mountain to Veha Coffee, the views and the drinks (they serve food as well) are spectacular. You can look over Bokor Mountain, the Secret Lake, Rice Fields, and across the bay to many of the islands just off the coast. If you take this tour in the afternoon you can watch the sunset over the ocean.

Your guide will then return you to your Hotel or Guesthouse.
