Kep and Kampot, Pepper Farm, Crab Market, Cham Village, Boat trip, Full Day Private Tour

We depart your hotel for the Pagoda of Trey Koh, where you can learn about Buddhism, visit a Cambodian school and learn about the Cambodian educational system. Just a bit further down the coast is the seaside town of Kep; it is a peaceful relaxed place, and quite charming. In the 1950s and 60s, this was the holiday home to Cambodia’s elite. Wealthy Cambodians, foreigners, and even the Royal family had mansions in Kep, where they would go to relax by the seaside.

Then we will board a boat to see and learn about the ancient Cham people, and visit their fishing village.

Continuing on to Kep, known for its delicious seafood, and crab in particular. At the Kep Crab Market, you can watch people pull crab traps out of the ocean and then immediately sell the crabs right there on the wooden boardwalk. You can also find squid, shrimp, fish, stingray, and many other varieties of freshly caught seafood for sale at the market. Here we will stop for lunch.

After lunch, we drive back to Kampot passing the Durian Roundabout and stop for a photo opportunity along the Riverfront to see the French colonial architecture and the Historical Kampot bridge. Afterwards, we continue to Farmlink Pepper Farm. Here you will get to see how some of the worlds finest pepper is grown and processed, and purchase some if you wish.

After the Pepper Farm our tour comes to an end and our guide and driver will transfer to your accommodation.
