Hang Kho Ba Pagoda
Just outside Stung Treng is the 300 year old Hang Kho Ba Pagoda complex, known for the intricacy of its carvings. This is a working Temple that local Buddhists visit daily for prayer. The many Buddha images, and scenes from the Ramayana, along with various iconography make this a great short trip outside town. Afterwards you can sit along the Mekong at one of many small restaurants on the banks and enjoy a delicious lunch of the local Pava fish.
